What is ibogaine?
Iboga is a perennial rainforest shrub native to Africa. Extracted from the root bark, ibogaine is a natural psychoactive substance used to treat various addictions. A powerful entheogen, ibogaine has disassociative properties and helps with addictions to opiates, alcohol, amphetamines, cigarettes and food. Scientific research and reports show that a single administration of ibogaine can reduce or remove symptoms of withdrawal. Ibogaine is also used to treat various psychological disorders such as PTSD and depression.
One of the most powerful plant medicines on earth, iboga is not a “cure” but works as an addiction interruptor, giving the patient a window of time to make lasting and healthy changes. Scientific studies show that a single administration of ibogaine can significantly reduce or even remove symptoms of withdrawal. Furthermore, reports and research shows that the desire for the preferred drug(s) and maladaptive behaviors are eliminated for either a long period, or permanently.
